glory to God

I've been reflecting on our week in Moscow, and I am still amazed by everything that happened. Our experience was as perfect as it could have been, and it can only be attributed to God. Everything that I worried about worked out smoothly, and I realized that I need to trust Him more and worry less! His hand was evident in everything that happened, including the fact that Eli was born on our wedding anniversary and entered the Kolomna orphanage on Russ' birthday, which we thought was a large and obvious sign that Eli is meant to be our son, but His presence was also evident in all the small details. Our Lord works miracles in Russia, and we are full of praise and gratitude.

Ana! I'm so excited how wonderfully everything went for you! Russ's posts are HILARIOUS, your's are inspiring! God bless you and Eli. I'm sure you probably already know, but another couple on our return flight (Trip 1, still awaiting invite for court date/trip 2) told us that their son's name is Oleg, which means Elijah in Russian...at least, I think that's what they said. All the best. Sally & Carlos

It is truly amazing how it is all in God's hands! We feel exactly the same way about being referred Jaxon - it was totally perfect! Hoping you are back in Moscow becoming Eli's official Mommy soon.

I'm so glad it all went well. I've been so busy I've only caught a little bit of your journey in Russia. I hope to go through and read it all this weekend. But I'm very happy that everything went so well.
I'll be praying that you can return soon to bring Eli home.
